Each course requires self-study in between the teaching sessions. You are expected to work independently with cases from your own company and in a study group. The study group gives you an opportunity to exchange experiences and gain valuable insight into other industries and companies.

The instruction is a mix of:

  • dialogue-based lectures
  • cases
  • group work and projects based on your experiences.

You will work with cases and knowledge from your own company throughout the course, making the course application-oriented from day one.

You will need the following information and documents when preparing your application.

Documentation of qualifying examination

Documentation for your qualifying examination, single subject courses, etc. (e.g. Bachelor's, Master's, HD or other diploma programme). It is important that the diploma is signed and/or verified with a stamp.

Motivational letter

The motivational letter is an important part of the assessment, especially if the number of applicants succeed the number of spaces in the course. The motivational letter should provide insight into your background and your motivation for studying an MBA course. The letter should be 1-2 pages long.

You should provide answers to the following questions:

  • What is your professional background?

Elaborate on your work experience by describing the tasks you have solved in the relevant positions on your resumé. The description must demonstrate that you have work experience that:
    • lies within the business economics specialisation of the MBA programme

Describe your motivation for taking an MBA course and your thoughts on this choice of skills development.

Documentation of at least three years of work experience

To be offered acceptance for an MBA course you must have at least three years of relevant work experience. You therefore need to provide documentation for minimum three years of relevant work experience.

You can fulfill this requirement in two ways:

  • Statement from your employer
If you have been employed in more than one organisation, your current employer can issue a joint employer's statement (downloadable below) if they are willing to guarantee for all the periods.
  • Copy of contracts and last payslip from same employment
  • Payslips (e.g. two payslips from the same employment with min. two years in between)

Resumé

You must submit an updated version of your resumé in order for the admissions committee to assess the relevance of your work experience. The resumé should at least state documentation for three years of relevant work experience with description of position, company name, tasks, etc.

We cannot use a link to your LinkedIn profile. However, you can generate a pdf version of your resumé on LinkedIn, which you can upload to your application.
