The trend in IT solutions is going from On-Premise solutions towards SaaS Cloud solutions.
This development increases the need for businesses to focus on strategic processes and adapt supporting processes to standard processes. The presentation highlights the potential and challenges of business process management.

Dan Olsen holds a Master's degree in business administration. For 15 years, he has held various managing positions within the lines of business of IT and logistics as well as managing positions in IT consultancy throughout the last 17 years. He is now employed at SAP Danmark A/S currently as a Business Transformation Principal.

Digitalization of Supply Chains – Implications for the IT Organization

Businesses are becoming increasingly digitalized, and it has a significant impact on business, as the technological complexity increases. Business Process Management is one approach with which to deal with this complexity, and this has implications both for the IT organization and to businesses in general.This presentation highlights the potential and challenges in this regard.

Charles Møller is professor in Business Process Innovation and director of the Center for Industrial Production. He teaches and conducts research on the management of enterprise information systems in an industrial context. His current interests are Business Process Innovation and the integration of IT and business.
