We have many distinguished MBA alumni from Aarhus BSS. With this new award we wish to celebrate and recognise the accomplishments made by you and your fellow alumni.
At the Annual MBA Meeting, we intend to present the first MBA alum of the year from Aarhus BSS.
To be able to find the right alum we need your help in order to nominate great candidates.
You may find a detailed description of criteria for nomination below.
Please feel free to send us your nominations with a brief statement of support.
All nominations must be submitted by September 1 to Director of Studies Kristina Risom Jespersen, kjespersen@econ.au.dk.
Criteria for nomination
I. Purpose
A. The purpose of the MBA Alum of the Year Award is to recognise outstanding achievements by former students graduated from the MBA program of Aarhus BSS.
B. Outstanding achievements should be accomplished from professional work (examplary carreer), service to Aarhus BSS and/or to the wider community
II. Eligibility for award
A. MBA Alum of Aarhus BSS
B. Definition of an alum:
1. An alum is any person who has received an MBA degree from Aarhus BSS
2. This includes any of the Aarhus BSS MBA programs
1. The nominee shall have distinguished him- or herself in their chosen professional field of endeavor.
2. The nominee shall have made significant, innovative and/or special contributions to his or her community, on a local, municipality, regional, national or international level. This is the social/humanitarian criteria of the award.
3. The nominee shall have demonstrated integrity in his/her personal life and gained the respect of those surrounding him/her.
III. Nominations
A. Nominations may be submitted by:
1. Any department involved in the MBA program
2. Any MBA alum of Aarhus BSS.
3. Any member of the faculty or staff involved in the MBA-program of Aarhus BSS.
B. All nominations must be in writing and be accompanied by a brief statement of support.
C. All nominations must be submitted by September 1.
VI. Selection of recipients
A. It shall be the duty of the the MBA Study Board Alumni Selection Committee (The Chairman and 1 member) to make the final selection of the MBA Alum of the Year Award.
V. Presentation of award
A. The award shall be presented during the Annual MBA Meeting by the Director of Studies.
B. The recipients will be announced shortly before the date.
