Lab Rooms

Our nine lab rooms are situated over two floors at Fuglsangs Allé 20, building 2635. Lab 1 consists of 2 computer interaction labs suitable for computer experiments with up to 32 participants. Lab 2 rooms are smaller neutral lab rooms which are apt for individual participant studies.

Psychophysiology

BIOPAC equipment allows you to collect and analyse physiological data from life science experiments. COBE Lab has invested in a lot of equipment, including wireless options, that allow you to measure variables relating to skeletal muscle activity, skin conductance, and cardiovascular measures.

Computers and Monitors

Do you need extra equipment in your lab room? We have a number of spare desktop computers, laptops and ipads available.

Other equipment

Eye-tracking

Eye-tracking equipment allows you to measure eye movements and fixations. With our screen-based eye-tracking equipment, you are able to collect and analyse data in controlled lab environments and gain an understanding of the participant's visual attention.

EEG

The lab has one Enobio 8 EEG and two Brain Products ActiCap Xpress Bundles that allow the recording of neurophysiological EEG activity as measured by a set of electrodes placed on the scalp, with the option of using either gel-based electrode sensors or dry electrode sensors for a faster set-up time.

Virtual Reality

The lab has multiple options for virtual reality, including a high quality HP Reverb G2 Omnicept headset with built-in sensors to measure muscle movement, gaze, pupil size, pulse and more, as well as two wireless Oculus Quest 2 headsets. Lab 1F and 2F are suited for virtual reality set-ups.

Audiovisual

A range of audiovisual equipment such as microphones, cameras, headsets and ringing systems are available, if you need to record video or audio in your experiment.
