Lecturer of the Year
Associate Professor John Vestergaard Olesen, the Department of Business Development and Technology, has received the award for best lecturer of the year due to his outstanding communication skills, his ability to add perspective to the topics and think outside the box, to create structure in his teaching, to motivate the students in a very positive manner and to achieve impressive results. Alum of the year
The award was presented to Thomas Hedegaard Rasmussen, Vice President, HR Data & Analysis at Royal Dutch Shell in the Hague because he has fast become an agenda-setting voice within the field of HR in both Danish and international companies. Thomas Hedegaard Rasmussen holds a MSc in Psychology from Aarhus BSS where he also completed his PhD. Read more.
The Aarhus BSS Research Award
Anders Ryom Villadsen has been awarded the 2016 Aarhus BSS Research Award for his excellent contribution to research. He is a creative cosmopolitan, who has just been appointed professor and who excels in attracting external funding and navigating in international networks. Read more.
Administrative Employee of the Year
Astrid Larsen has received the award for her extraordinary work efforts in relation to student course and exam registration. Astrid Larsen works as a study administrator in the Aarhus BSS Studies Administration - Courses and Exam and has been employed at the school for the past five years. Read more.
