Yu-Kai Chou
Yu-kai Chou is an Author and International Keynote Speaker on Gamification. He is the Original Creator of the gamification framework: Octalysis, and the author of Actionable Gamification: Beyond Points, Badges, and Leaderboards. He is the Founder of The Octalysis Group and has been a regular speaker/lecturer on gamification worldwide, including at organizations like Google, Stanford University, LEGO, TEDx, SxSW, Gamified India, Huawei, the Innovation Center in Denmark, Kingdom of Bahrain, and many more. Rajiv Valid Basaiawmoit
Dr. Rajiv Vaid Basaiawmoit, Ph.D., MBA, is the Head of Sci-Tech Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Science & Technology at Aarhus University, Denmark. He works with student-led innovation and entrepreneurship, interdisciplinary collaboration and gamification. He combines a rather multi-disciplinary academic background (PhD in Biophysics & MBA in Sustainability) with a social impact focused mind-set.
In his spare time he designs & plays games and tries solving some of the most pressing social problems of the world today with games and has won several awards for his innovative approaches. Some of his novel ideas have been pitched in front of some of the world’s prominent and influential people within social change – such as former US President Bill Clinton, Nobel Prize winner Prof. Muhammad Yunus, and CEO of Dubai-based child-education NGO – Sheikh Tariq Al-gurg.
