The programme 2019

Courses 2019

Students attending Aarhus BSS Winter School in 2019 can choose to attend one of three courses:  

Each course is worth a total of 10 ECTS and consists of a mixture of both lectures, classroom workshops, discussions and exercises. In addition to attending lectures and other classroom activities students are expected to prepare according to their instructors guidelines - both prior to arrival and during the program. 

Social programme 2019

During the programme a number of social activities and events are planned to give students a taste of the local as well as European culture and history in general. This includes tours of the city and campus and well as social activities. A detailed programme will be available in December 2018.  

Information about Exams 2019

The exam in each course consists of two parts: A written exam on-site on the last day of the course and a take home assignment due approximately 6 weeks after the course has finished. The re-exam consists of a take-home assignment only. Detailed information about the exam can be found under each course in the AU Course Catalogue.  

Written on-site exam: January 18, 2019

  • Climate law – international and EU law in context: Building 1481, room 231 + room 237 from 10.00 - 11.30 (WOMC)
  • Danish and European Business in a Global Perspective: Building 1481, room 239 from 9.00 -12.00 (WOAI)    
  • Branding and Advertising in Complex Markets: Building 1485, room 226 from 9.00 - 12.00 (WOAI)

Take home assignment: March 5, 2019

The take-home assignment (WHAI) for all three courses is due Tuesday March 5 at 14:00 (2 pm) Danish time

Exam guidelines 

Re-exams

Students who fail the ordinary exams have the option to sign up for the re-exam. You can sign up by sending an email to Katrine Rosenbeck at kabr@au.dk. The deadline to sign up is: 26 April, 2019. 

The re-exam for all 3 courses is due Thursday June 6 at 14:00 (2 pm) Danish time. 

Complaints

Please note that if you wish to make a formal complaint this must be done within 2 weeks of receiving the grade on Self Service. 

Results and Transcript of Records

Within four weeks of the final exam taking place, students will receive a Transcript of Records. Transcripts will be sent to both the student and the home university via email.

Each student is evaluated individually and graded according to the Danish Grading System
