Please note that not all of the university’s courses are offered under the available student place scheme. For example, it is not possible to follow single-subject courses in psychology or on the Bachelor’s degree programme in law. In addition, there may be degree programmes where it is not possible to attend courses on the first semester, but only on the subsequent semesters.

Supplementary subject/subsidiary subject under the available student place scheme

Just like a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme, supplementary subjects/subsidiary subjects consist of a number of courses or exams. If you want to complete an entire supplementary subject/subsidiary subject, you must pass all the exams connected to the subject in question. If you wish to obtain the qualifications needed to teach a specific subject area at upper-secondary school, it is important that you take the supplementary subject/subsidiary subject on Bachelor’s as well as on Master’s level.

Ahead of each semester, you must apply for admission to the single-subject courses on the supplementary subject/subsidiary subject you wish to attend that semester. You must attach documentation each time you apply. It is possible to reuse previously submitted documentation if you log on to the digital application system in the same way as when you applied the first time. Please note that it is not possible to complete a supplementary subject/subsidiary subject faster than the prescribed degree completion time.
