Foresight by Design

At this breakfast meeting and seminar, special guest Josef Hargrave will discuss best practices in strategic foresight and its application across engineering, design, architecture, and consulting. Josef is an Associate Director in Arup's Foresight, Research and Innovation team. He will talk about the use of foresight tools for exploration of the built environment of the future, and will provide insights into the leadership of a global foresight team in one of the world's leading design-engineering companies.

Speaker

Josef Hargrave is an associate Director in Arup's Foresight, Research and Innovation team. As Global Foresight Manager, he is responsible for the delivery and management of foresight services, tools and projects globally, including trend research, customer experience, innovation management, thought leadership, design projects and corporate strategy programmes.

Josef previously worked as a foresight consultant to the UK government and as a foresight analyst at Z_punkt The Foresight Company. He is a board member at the Museum of Architecture and Futures Fellow at the London Transport Museum.
