The Department of Business Development and Technology at Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University, invites applications for a post doc position in the field of data science and business with focus on internet of things business development. 
 
The post doc position is a full-time and fixed-term one-year position starting on 1 December 2017 or as agreed upon. The position contains the option of being prolonged by one year. 
 
Job description
The postdoctoral candidate will be responsible for:
•publishing outstanding research in top tier journals
•assisting with the administration of the Centre for Business Development (CBD), including the supervision of students and staff
•assisting with grant writing
•project management of the NGI move and IoTCrawler H2020 projects 
•teaching to a lesser extend  
 
Your qualifications
Required qualifications and skills include: 
•an earned doctorate in computer science, engineering or business
 
Preferred qualifications and skills include: 
•expertise on IoT systems, Industry 4.0, and/or data driven business models, as well as skills to develop software solutions that integrate internet of things devices with business processes
•advanced training in data analytics
•a proven ability to analyze large datasets and to perform basic and advanced analyses of internet of things data.

The Department of Business Development and Technology is a satellite department of Aarhus University located in Herning. The department excels in business and engineering disciplines and pays particular attention to collaborations with business and society. The department has around 1,700 students. Terms of employment
The appointment is in accordance with the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff at Danish Universities as well as the circular on the Collective Agreement for Academics Employed by the State.

• Publications. Up to three publications can be included in the application. In the event of several authors the publications must be accompanied by a co-author statement concerning the applicant's share of the collaborative work with the consent of the co-authors. This form can be used for the purpose
