Aarhus BSS awarded 5-year AMBA accreditation

For the first time, Aarhus BSS has received the full 5-year AMBA accreditation for the school’s MBA programme. The accreditation reflects the high international standard of the programme and is an important seal of approval, says Dean Thomas Pallesen.

The AMBA accreditation is awarded to MBA programmes of the highest international standard.

For the first time, Aarhus BSS has been awarded the full 5-year AMBA accreditation for the school’s MBA programme. The accreditation is awarded to MBA programmes of the highest international standard and thus benchmarks Aarhus BSS against the world’s leading business schools.

The AMBA accreditation is awarded by AMBA’s International Accreditation Advisory Board (IAAB). With its decision, the IAAB has endorsed the AMBA Assessment Panel’s recommendation following the visit at Aarhus BSS in October.

In their assessment report, the panel concluded that MBA programme at Aarhus BSS is of the highest international standard and reflects the changing trends and innovation in postgraduate management education. The panel also highlighted the collegiate and supportive atmosphere found at the school and the enthusiasm, engagement and not least the high quality of the MBA faculty, students and alumni they met during their visit.   Dean Thomas Pallesen is both delighted and proud of the IAAB’s decision:

“With the full 5-year AMBA accreditation, Aarhus BSS has achieved an important external and independent validation of our MBA programme,” he says. “It enables us to compete with some of the world’s leading business schools in the field of management education, and I would like to thank all of the people who have contributed to the process that has led to this outstanding result.”

The next AMBA accreditation visit is scheduled for October 2022.
